Facebook Live lets you connect with your fans, friends and followers by sharing real-time video of what you’re seeing and doing.
Facebook has steadily been releasing "Live" over the last several months. When it came out it was only released to verified public figures through the iOS Mentions app. Early in December, Live became available to most in the USA. It will be released to the UK to verified Facebook pages later this year - watch this space!
During your "Live" broadcast, you'll see the number of live viewers, the names of friends who are watching and a real-time stream of comments. Your broadcast can be no longer than 30 minutes. When you end your broadcast, it'll be saved on your Timeline like any other video.
When you're watching a live video or a video that was live, you can tap or click "Subscribe" to get notified the next time that person starts a live broadcast.
