TIP: Use this new Facebook feature to increase your business’s visibility & Learn about Facebook's new payment feature:

GET YOUR POSTS NOTICED:  After spending time and effort on creating a page post, do you worry as a business that it goes into a black hole in your fans' newsfeed and doesn't get noticed/read?  Facebook now allows people to customise their news feed to prioritise updates from particular friends, groups and pages. This is great news for pages with good content, so fans can prioritise YOUR posts.   

Educate your audience on how to select to see your posts first in their news feed.  Tell fans how to add your page to their "See First" list ....

The easiest way is to go directly to your Facebook page, click the "Liked" button and then select the "See First" option:

Another option is to go to the full customisation options (people, pages and groups) from desktop or mobile devices. To access it from a desktop, select the down arrow on the far right to get to News Feed Preferences.

Next, navigate down to Pages. Then view the pages you’ve seen most recently and click the tab to list the pages in alphabetical order. Click the Following button to customise those you want to see first.

Another new Facebook feature....

SEND & RECEIVE MONEY ON FACEBOOK : Facebook has confirmed you will be able to send cash to friends through the social network's Messenger mobile app.  The new feature (only rolled out to users in the United States so far)  lets you add a debit card to the app and instantly transfer money through conversations.  It works in the same way as you would share a photo with a "friend".  

Facebook has explained that it already processes one million transactions each day through gamers and advertisers using the social network.  The company has been quick to address any fears over security - "We use secure systems that encrypt the connection between you and Facebook as well as your card information when you ask us to store it for you," the company states.  

"These payment systems are kept in a secured environment that is separate from other parts of the Facebook network and that receive additional monitoring and control. A team of anti-fraud specialists monitor for suspicious purchase activity to help keep accounts safe."
