Recent Project - Heating Somerset

HeatingSomerset is a long established heating and plumbing company based in Weston-super-Mare and serving Somerset and surrounding areas.  Several years ago Force 4 Computing created a website for them and we were recently commissioned to create their new site.

This site was specifically designed to match Heating Somerset's existing branding, logo and colour scheme whilst implementing a new fresh look to their site, which is far more comprehensive than their previous site.

Force 4 provided a bespoke boiler service booking system.  This allows customers to see the time slots already allocated, select a free slot and then make an online booking by providing their contact details.  This then updates a MySQL database, which allows Heating Somerset to track, query and report on all bookings made.  The system also sends a detailed confirmation email back to the customer, confirming all their booking arrangements.

Force 4 also integrated Google Blogger into their website, which gives the client control and the ability to update their news articles whenever they wish.

Force 4 used the accordion display facility (where small sections can be expanded to view additional information) for the Frequently Asked Questions page.  This enables a large amount of content to be displayed in a relatively small area, ideal for this type of content.
